• Question: Does Marvel actually hire from the positions listed on the careers page? I've applied for 10+ jobs and it never gets passed the "submissions" stage. From what I hear, it seems like nepotism is the only way to get a job there. - Anonymous

    Yes, we hire people from among all of the available applicants.

    But as you’d expect, competition for any position is fierce. I don’t know what your background or experience is, but it may simply not be as strong as the background or experience of other people.

    Rather than crying about baseless charges of nepotism, it would be more positive for you to get out there and improve your resume by adding additional skills and work experiences to it. That might be what makes the difference next time.

    Or not. It’s your life, so it’s really up to you.
